We decided to buy Intellipure filters because they are a USA company and we were impressed with their demonstrated performance – ZERO (!) airborne particulate post filtration as measured by a laser particulate counter – wow.

We took a compact unit with us when staying overnight in a home that has occasional indoor pets. My wife, who suffers from fairly severe dog allergies could tell immediately that dogs had been indoors, but by setting the purifier up at bedside she was able to breathe easy through the night.

Really impressive, highly recommended, and worth the cost.
